Inscription on TombstoneErected by the Employees of the Wellington-Manawatu Railway Company as a token of their esteem. In loving memory of Arthur Robert Wm. FULTON, M.Inst. C.E. & M.I.M.E., late Manager of the Wellington-Manawatu Railway. Born at West Taieri, Otago, died of typhoid fever at Wellington 26 July 1889, aged 35. Description of GraveThere are two steps up to the grave which has black & white tiles in the centre, and is surrounded by ironwork railings (no gate). The striking memorial is a tapering column set on a substantial plinth, with the inscription in lead lettering on white marble on the two top tiers below the column.
