And his wife, Elizabeth GILMER, born in County Monaghan, Ireland, on 24 March 1840, died at Wellington, New Zealand on 31 January 1928. Also their infant daughter, Anne GILMER. Samuel Henry GILMER, died 27 November 1943, aged 66. Hamilton Andrew Hugh GILMER, born 8 August 1874, died 23 October 1937.
Description of GraveThe large family plot on the lower slope of a hillside is a solid concrete grave with a low wall across the back and with seven separate memorials. Five of these, including two with crosses, are white marble with lead lettering, and two are in grey polished granite with incised lettering.
